Mendocino is surrounded by beautiful blue skies, green forests and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.  Taking a walk through the many forests, the Headlands, the river or the beach is always a delightful experience.  This suite consists of 2 distinctively different bedrooms and bathrooms that face the adjacent meadow and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. 

This rooms both have western views to the meadow and ocean beyond where you can watch whale spouts and see them emerge from the sea.  It's a great place to experience the sparkle of the day sun on the ocean, the evening amber sunsets and the luminous glow of the moon reflecting off of Mendocino Bay.  The rooms are upstairs across from our Hospitality Suite with kitchen, living room, and TV/VCR.

The rooms have an interconnecting doorway for privacy or for easy interaction with friends or family.  If you don't need both bedrooms, you can have just one bedroom.  The Whale Bedroom is upstairs above and across from the Hospitality Suite and the Orca Bedroom is just behind that.

This Whale Bedroom room is named after the famous whales that pass by Mendocino most of the year.  It's nicely decorated in a beige and black motif with rich interior furnishings and wall paper.  The room has its own bathroom and newly renovated shower.  While in your room, you can relax in our plush leather swivel chairs and enjoy the view of the open spaces.

When it's time for bed, extra thick queen sized mattress, goose down feather bed, goose down feather pillows, sateen sheets and fleece blankets are there to assure a comfortable nights rest. 

The art work in this room is by famous local artists with depiction's of whaling and coastal life.   

If you don't need both rooms, you can rent just one bedroom for about 1/2 the cost.
