Finally
getting around to

Deserves Way More Stars
We loved the place. Very nice
little romantic B&B. Right near everything in downtown, but off the
main St., so not a lot of traffic. The guy running it was very friendly
and helpful about pointing out locations to visit. Breakfast was basic,
but it was all we needed after the fancy dinners the night before.

Great
stay in Mendocino
This
was actually a nice surprise! We saw some pictures in the web, but were
actually impressed by the nice flat. The bed was like the ones you'd
find in a castle. Very high, with 4 poles at each corner.
Brent prepared the breakfast each morning and this is definitely
another quality, than the stuff you get in a typical American
hotel/motel- One could tell the day before what you wanted to have in
the morning.
You take your breakfast to your flat and have it there. There's a fully
equipped kitchenette as well in the living room.
Every thing was very clean. In deed the Nicholson House looks like
recently restored...

We stayed 2
nights but wished we had been able to stay longer. The owner who booked
us in was really friendly and helpful.
We were warmly welcomed and the room was really cozy with nice decor
and very well maintained.
The breakfast was the best we had in out 2 week stay in the USA with a
wide range of fresh high quality items.

My
husband and I were joined by our small canine and a good friend for 3
nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We stayed in the "Admiral's Deck"
which was perfect for our group. The kitchen was small, but certainly
adequate and nicely equipped allowing us to prepare a delicious
Thanksgiving Dinner. You would not believe the expansive deck and
pleasant outdoor seating with a nice peek of Mendocino Bay. The
breakfasts that Brent provided each morning included a variety of
cereals, fresh fruit, juices and freshly made baked goods to mention a
only few of the delicious items offered. Dennis was very personable and
helpful during our preservation phone calls; we are sorry to not have

Rooms
are clean and beautifully decorated. I am very impressed with the
shower curtain that is so pretty so I took the vendors name from the
tag to see if I can buy one for our bathroom. Breakfast is great. We
were just expecting a continental breakfast but we got some cold cuts
too and the cinnamon cake, muffins and scones are home made and freshly
baked each morning. This is on top of the bagels and English muffins
and the coffee is freshly brewed. Close to restaurants and shops and
you can just walk around town. To top this all, they accommodated to
store and lock our 2 bicycles in the laundry room. Very accommodating

perfect combination of attention to every detail but feeling left alone
to enjoy this extraordinary area. Our questions about sites and
destinations were answered while we enjoyed conversation with some
other visitors over fresh food at breakfast. And the bed was luxurious!

stayed in the Admirals deck room, which was beautifully furnished,
spacious and had a great deck to watch the sunset. It had a wonderful
high bed, great bathroom, and a lovely living room to hang out in. The
breakfast served was very nice, lots of options to choose from, and we
had great service throughout our stay, and lots of privacy which we
appreciated. In short, we had a great time, and would definitely come
